![]() The extra +20 AC did absolutely nothing for me. I made around 90k gold and dumped that into Rune Stones, which I used to make two +10 AC rings. I got stuck on the Mindflayer Boss on Extreme (it kept one shotting me), so I started a new save, and played through up until Act 2. Also, apparently there's a method involving 2 Players, where you can properly import your old Easy/Normal/Hard character into Extreme while keeping all of your gear.Īs for the +15, with the exception of obvious stuff, like more Hit Points or damage, I don't think your missing out on much. You keep your items between Extreme Mode runs? I figured you'd start naked at the start of each run like you do when you first jump into Extreme You start naked, but if you import a pre-existing Extreme Mode character into that save, you'll keep all your stuff. I've done it the duplication way before and it still takes at least an hour to tediously amass enough gems. ![]() Originally posted by dakotastic:You either (a) grind extreme mode playtgroughs dozens of times like a manic, (b) use the Charisma exploit to scam Bartley and build funds, or (c) dupe items. ![]() You can usually find him talking about JRPGs on Twitter at. Last May, developer Black Isle Studios said a rerelease was on the table after the success of the surprise release of an enhanced version of the first game, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance.Īt this time, there is no word on a release date other than sometime this summer. Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II also features a fully voice acted cast and four difficulty levels. This updated version, like the original, will include five playable characters and classes to play across 80 levels. We said “this game is easy to pick up, easy to play, and a great excuse for wading through legions of monsters by yourself or with a friend.” In our review we gave it an 8.4 out of 10. The original game was released in 2004 on PS2 and Xbox, three years after the first. And yes, it’s fully verified on the Steam Deck for an on-the-go, handheld RPG experience. On the Steam version, you’ll also be able to use Remote Play for a long-distance cooperative experience. ![]()
